On November 1st, according to the deployment of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee on the theme education of “Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Firmly in Mind Our Mission” and the implementation planning of Jiangsu University on the theme education, Vice President Zhao Yutao delivered a Party lecture in No. 1 Lecture Hall of the Conference Center entitled “Remain True to Our Original Aspiration, Keep Firmly in Mind Our Mission, and Vigorously Carrying out the Strategy of Talent Recruitment for the Construction of a Powerful International University”. Staff and student Party members from the Retired Cadres Department of the Party Committee, the Working Department for Teachers of the Party Committee, the Human Resources Office, the International Office, the School of Food and Biological Engineering, the School of Foreign Languages, and the Overseas Education College. The Party lecture was presided over by School of Foreign Languages Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong.
Vice President Zhao Yutao’s lecture is both lively and profound. His lecture contains four parts, that is, Cognition and Realization of the Theme Education, Problems and Shortcomings Revealed the Theme Education, Thinking on and Measures for the Improvement of Our Work, and Revelations of the Theme Education. He hoped that all conferees would reinforce their Party spirit cultivation, firmly establish the conception of development for the people, vigorously enhance the self-initiated revolution and the responsibility-bearing spirit, greatly promote our work capability and level, and make our contributions to the construction of Jiangsu University into a “double first-rate” high-level research-oriented university.
At the end of the meeting, Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong stressed the importance of conscientiously learning and digesting the Party lecture given by Vice President Zhao Yutao, hoping that the conferees would transform their learning results into future action, integrating the theme education into their daily work for a mutual promotion, giving play to the practical effect of the theme education, and steadfastly pushing all the undertakings of ours to a new level.
