On April 11, Li Jiajun, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, was invited to participate in the East China Regional Promotion Conference for the "Three-Into" Initiative and the Seminar on Cultivating Multilingual International Communication Talents. He delivered a speech at the parallel forum for deans. The conference was hosted by the National Advisory Committee on Foreign Language and Literature Education under the Ministry of Education and organized by Zhejiang International Studies University. Co-organizers included the Zhejiang Provincial Advisory Committee for College Foreign Language Education, Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, the Zhejiang Provincial International Communication Center, and the Overseas Center (International Channel) of Zhejiang Radio and Television Group. Focusing on its theme, the conference featured four keynote speeches, three parallel forums, and one thematic exchange session.
At the parallel forum, Vice Dean Li shared insights with participating experts on the concept of international communication competence and related research, the current practices of the "Three-Into" initiative in the School of Foreign Languages, and reflections on further implementing the "Three-Into" initiative in foreign language education. His presentation was well received by the forum's moderator, Professor Wang Zhuo, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at Shandong Normal University, as well as other leaders from foreign language schools at various universities attending the parallel forum. Leaders from the schools of foreign languages at institutions such as Fudan University, Zhejiang Normal University, Fujian Medical University, and Anhui University of Science and Technology also presented their respective universities' practices and innovations in implementing the "Three-Into" initiative during the parallel forum.

The conference also featured an exhibition showcasing the teaching achievements of the "Three-Into" initiative in Zhejiang Province. A total of 27 universities presented their initiatives and outcomes through a combination of text and visuals, highlighting new explorations in curriculum design, teacher development, practical innovations, and institutional support within Zhejiang’s higher education institutions.
From April 12 to 13, Lv Yuyong, Secretary of the Party Branch of the English Department, attended the "Understanding Contemporary China" English Teaching Seminar held at Wuhan University. Organized by the Ministry of Education's Virtual Teaching and Research Office for Understanding Contemporary China and the School of Foreign Languages and Literature at Wuhan University, the seminar aimed to effectively advance the "Three-Into" initiative, collaboratively explore new ideas and methods for teaching the "Understanding Contemporary China" English curriculum series, and contribute to cultivating talents with an international perspective and the ability to tell China’s stories well in the new era.
