On the morning of April 22, a delegation of 5 headed by Dean Li Hongli of the School of Foreign Languages, Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, visited the School of Foreign Languages, JSU and conducted a research on the political ideology construction in College English. A seminar was held in the Meeting Room in Z229. The head and members of the College English Course Political Ideology Construction Team, as well as Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong, Dean Li Chongyue, Deputy Dean Wu Peng, participated in the seminar.
At the meeting, Secretary Lu Yunsong first extended a warm welcome to Dean Li Hongli and his delegation on behalf of the SFL. Subsequently, Wu Peng made a detailed introduction to the visitors about the background of political ideology construction of College English courses, ways to develop political ideology resources, the specific teaching design, the implementation of promotion measures and the effectiveness of the construction. Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong then elaborated on the necessity and significance of political ideology construction in College English courses, and the strong impact of Party construction work on the political ideology construction in College English courses. Towards the end of the meeting, President Li Chongyue held in-depth exchanges with the visitors on the core issues of the major construction and the cultivation and recruitment of foreign language talents.
Dean Li Hongli and his colleagues sang a high praise for the innovation and effectiveness of the College English course political ideology construction of JSU. They expressed strong wishes to jointly develop curriculum resources and forge ahead together with JSU.
