SFL holds Conference on Constructing the Party Style and Clean Government and Implementing the Ideological Work

 

 

On the afternoon of May 2, the SFL held a Conference on Constructing the Party Style and Clean Government and Implementing the Ideological Work. The whole administration, Party Committee members, School office director, department deans and Party branch secretaries attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong read two documents respectively titled “Notice on Establishing the School of Foreign Languages Leading Group for Implementing the Responsibility System of the Ideological Work” and “List of the Principal Responsibilities of the School of Foreign Languages for the Construction of Party Style and Clean Government”. The Party Committee signed the “2018 Letter of Responsibility of the School of Foreign Languages for the Construction of Party Style and Clean Government” and the “Letter of Responsibility of the School of Foreign Languages for Implementing the Ideological Work” respectively with each Party branch of the School.

In her speech, Dean Chen Hong hoped that the School will uphold the principle of open procedures in implementing the construction of the Party style and clean government and the construction of the ideological work so as to execute all regulations righteously; we should strengthen our personal cultivation, integrity and self-discipline, put a priority on our moral standards, strengthen the consciousness of cultivating talents with high moral standards and strive to be a teacher with “four virtues”; we must rely heavily upon the united strength of the faculty and staff members, give full play to the role of a good atmosphere and strive to make contributions to the development of various understandings of the School.

Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong delivered a concluding speech, stressing that we should strengthen our study, enhance our political and ideological consciousness; elevate our political stance and adhere to the correct political direction; make conscientious efforts to do various undertakings of the School steadfastly and creatively.
