On the afternoon of May 2, the School of Foreign Languages held a Working Conference on Party Construction, Clean Governance and Ideology Implementation in the School Meeting Center. The whole School administration, Party Committee members, the School Office director, heads of all departments, and the School Party branch secretaries attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong read out the “Notice on Establishing a Leading Group for Implementing the Responsibility System of the Ideological Work of the School of Foreign Languages” and the “Notice on Establishing a Leading Group for the Construction of Party Conduct and Honest Administration”. He also delivered and interpreted the “Plan of the School of Foreign Languages on Implementing the Responsibility System of the Ideological Work” and the “List of Responsibilities for the Subjects of Party Conduct Honest Administration”. the SFL Party Committee signed the “2018 Responsibility Agreement on the Party Conduct and Honest Administration of the School of Foreign Languages” and the “2018 Responsibility Agreement on the Implementation of the Responsibility System of the Ideological Work.”
In her speech, Dean Chen Hong extended the hopes that in constructing the Party conduct and honest administration and carrying out the ideological work the SFL would adhere to the principles of procedural justice, normalized execution, decent conduct and moral standards. We must strengthen our individual cultivation, be honest, self-disciplined, reinforce the moral education on students, and be a faculty member with “four merits.” In developing the School we must enlist the strength of solidarity, give full play to the role of a clean atmosphere, and make every effort to do our bits to the development of various undertakings in the SFL and JU.
In his speech, Secretary Lu Yunsong hoped that everyone would strengthen the theoretical studies and improve their ideological and political understanding; elevate their political stance and keep the right direction; do every piece of work of the School conscientiously and creatively by putting theory into practice.
