On the afternoon of October 22, Dr. J. P. Bakken, dean of the Graduate School of Bradley University in charge of partnerships and Dr. S. H. Amirali, director of the Marketing, Recruitment, Student Success & Partnerships of the Graduate School and their party visited the School of Foreign Languages to negotiate on cooperative education.
Accompanied by Deputy Dean Professor Su Jianhong & Deputy Dean Professor Li Chongyue of the School of Foreign Languages, the American visitors first paid a visit to the History Museum of Jiangsu University and toured the campus. Then the two parties started their negotiation on cooperative education in the School Meeting Room. They each introduced their undergraduate and graduate English programs and voiced their opinions on the mode of partnership. After the meeting, they also exchanged the detailed course setting and curricula of their undergraduate and graduate English programs, agreeing that they would execute the cooperative plan after course matching.
Bradley University is one of the top private universities in Illinois, offering 185 undergraduate and graduate programs. The Humanities Department housed by the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences offers the English program.
