On the afternoon of October 20, the School of Foreign Languages held a Symposium on Youth Political & Ideological Education in the School Meeting Room. Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong, Deputy Secretary & Deputy Dean Xia Jianru, and Dean Assistant Wu Peng attended the meeting. Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong presided over the meeting.
At the Symposium, faculty of the School spoke actively, noting elatedly the achievements that have been made by Jiangsu University as well as the School of Foreign Languages. After extending thanks to the School for the concern showed towards the youth faculty, they put forward quite a few useful suggestions and ideas on the future development of the School, saying that they would perform their own duties on the basis of cultivating talents with high moral standards and play a more important role in realizing the objectives of the School by constantly upgrading and perfecting themselves. Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong highly appreciated the contributions that have been made by youth faculty to the development of the School, saying that the School thought highly of the suggestions and ideas of the symposium participants, would spare no efforts in providing services to the youth faculty by adopting the problem-oriented policy, and hoped that all youth faculty of the School would follow their hearts to work harder and make more contributions to the development of Jiangsu University and the School of Foreign Languages.
