July 22, the 2017 FLTRP “Star Teacher” Contest was held in Hangzhou. Through the fierce intermediary contest comprising two stages, Li Chao of the School of Foreign Languages, Jiangsu University finally won the championship with the highest score and got promoted to the final of the year.
In the said contest, 40 teachers from colleges and universities of China, including those from Sun Yat-sen University and Tongji University, demonstrated the knack of combining teaching materials with smart technologies. By selecting and adapting the abstracts of papers published both at home and abroad provided by the “Unipus”, Li Chao of Jiangsu University gave a detailed analysis of the structure of an abstract to acquaint students with the requirements for a scientific abstract. At the stage of on-the-spot testing, Li Chao made an excellent on-the-spot testing feedback with an effective explanation and analysis of the questions in accordance with the testing results returned by the “Unipus APP”.
