Implementation Procedures for the Laboratory Access System of the School of Foreign Languages
The following safety education access procedures that highlight the features of the School of Foreign Languages are formulated in accordance with the stipulations of related documents issued by Jiangsu University about the laboratory access system and in view of the teaching characteristics of the Laboratory of the School of Foreign Languages.
1. Considering the teaching features of the Laboratory of the School of Foreign Languages, all students of the School of Foreign Languages need to take professional training in listening comprehension before they are granted access to the language laboratory. Since the language laboratory for foreign language majors is similar to multimedia classroom in structure and safety requirements, all undergraduates and postgraduates must receive education on fire protection and electricity safety for one period of lesson once every semester in accordance with “Implementation Rules for Students’ Safety Education of the School of Foreign Languages of Jiangsu University (Revised in 2019)”. Related stipulations and teaching outline are detailed in “Implementation Rules for Students’ Safety Education of the School of Foreign Languages of Jiangsu University (Revised in 2019)”.
2. All undergraduates and postgraduates need to sign the Safety Commitment, which shall be kept by the School of Foreign Languages.
3. No students shall be granted access to the language laboratory before completing the above two steps.
4. Students to violate the rules while learning in the language laboratory shall be punished in accordance with “Regulations and Implementation Rules for Students’ Safety Education of the School of Foreign Languages of Jiangsu University (Revised in 2019)”
5. The safety access management shall be conducted by following the above procedures at present.
