On July 6, a delegation of 7 from the School of Foreign Languages, Nantong University, including Party Committee Secretary Zhu Xiaojuan, Dean Lu Guojun, Party Committee Deputy Secretary Chen Junhuai, Deputy Dean She Jun, and Deputy Dean Xu Tuo visited Jiangsu University for the purpose of investigating the formulation of the Educational Development Planning during the national “14th Five-year Plan” period (2021-2025). Talks were held between the Nantong University delegates and SFL Party Committee Secretary Xie Zhifang, Dean Li Chongyue, Deputy Dean Zhang Lin, Deputy Dean Wang Ying and heads of all departments, General Office, Students Office and the Youth League.
First, Dean Li Chongyue extended the warmest welcome to the visitors from Nantong University on behalf of the School of Foreign Languages, introducing the School profile and the achievements that have been made in recent years as well as the difficulties confronting the School development. Dean Lu Guojun agreed with Li, saying that the foreign language education is faced with similar problems nationwide. Then the two parties went into profound exchanges in Party construction, discipline construction, talent cultivation, international education, local services, etc. All the participants of the meeting believed that the exchanges between different colleges and universities will help with each other’s progress.
