Days ago, the School of Foreign Languages, Zhenjiang Economists Society and Zhenjiang Translators Association signed the Tri-Party Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Language Training & Practice.
The agreement is intended to create a platform for the Translation Studies MA candidates of the School of Foreign Languages to put their theoretical learning into practice, to render it possible for the three parties to pool and share their resources and complementary advantages, to achieve a win-win situation, and to provide better services that will facilitate the healthy development of local economy.
The three parties involved exchanged views on the practice procedures for the Translation Studies MA candidates, meanwhile fixing the Cooperative Implementation Plan and related details. Moreover, they touched on the key issues of foreign language teaching and research, looked into the future of the incubated Training and Practice Base, and made in-depth exchanges on teacher training, project management, practical training and other issues.
School of Foreign Languages Dean Li Chongyue, Zhenjiang Economists Society President & Zhenjiang Municipal Development and Reform Commission Deputy Director Zhou Derong, and Zhenjiang Translators Association President & Zhenjiang Municipal Foreign Affairs Office Deputy Director Zhang Zhonghua, signed their names on the Tri-Party Agreement. School of Foreign Language Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong participated in the tripartite talks and the signing ceremony of the agreement.
