Days ago, Vice President Zhao Yutao inspected the School of Foreign Languages, giving instructions on the epidemic prevention and control and the commencement of a new semester. Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong, Deputy Secretary & Deputy Dean Xia Jianru, Deputy Dean Wu Peng, and General Office Director Luo Jingxiu attended the report meeting.
The SFL leadership made a report on the epidemic prevention and control as well as preparatory work for the new semester. In response to the deployment and requirements of the University, the SFL set up the Working Group for the Epidemic Prevention and Control at the earliest time, formulating an emergency plan for the epidemic prevention and control appropriate for the School. The SFL took measures to get well prepared for the new semester while containing the epidemic of COVID-19.
Zhao Yutao thought highly of the efforts that have been made by the SFL on the epidemic prevention and control as well as the opening of the new semester. He also put forward requirements for future work, demanding the School to put a premium on the University’s deployment on and requirements for the current work, to care for the faculty and students of the School and offer guidance to them on how to contain the epidemic, to upscale the working conception and methods so that the new semester might commence smoothly by adopting the mixed online/offline teaching approach.
