On the afternoon of September 4th, School of Foreign Languages Party Committee holds the Staff Meeting to look into the aspirations of the School faculty and employees, to get to know their ideological trend, their current life and their opinions about and suggestions to the School. The meeting was presided over by Party Committee Secretary Lu Yunsong. Dean Li Chongyue, a number of department deans or directors and Party Branch secretaries, as well as delegates of the faculty attended the Staff Meeting.
At the meeting, the conferees spoke out freely on hot social issues, as well as the reform and development, teaching and education, the working and life conditions of the University. They put forward quite a few good suggestions.
In response to the questions raised by the conferees, the School leadership pledged that they would work out those solvable problems immediately and create conditions for the solution of those problems not solvable at present. They would do their best to settle the worries of the staff so that they would together make greater contributions to the development of the School of Foreign Languages. (School of Foreign Languages)
