On June 28, at the final of “2019 Jiangsu University Digital Education Application & Innovation Competition for Normal University Students” hosted by the Teaching Affairs Office and undertaken by the School of Teacher Education, School of Foreign Languages TESOL Department Grade 17 students Li Xian and Feng Wenjing won a second prize for their collaborative work through a live show and defence.
“Digital Education Application & Innovation Competition for Normal University Students” is held in light of the gist of the National Education Convention and “Implementing Suggestions of the General Office of the State Council on Deepening the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Reform of Colleges and Universities” (Guofaban[2015]-36), “Educational Informationization 2.0 Initiative” of the Ministry of Education, and other documents. The competition is aimed at offering guidance to normal university students in their development of works oriented towards practical needs in view of a concern for educational development and an understanding of educational needs. Meanwhile, it is intended to raise their consciousness of practical needs and the pursuit of value realization, to cultivate their innovative ability and cooperative awareness through activities that will transform their book knowledge into practical skills, and to promote their comprehensive quality.
