Based on the educational concept of People Orientation, Professor Wang explained in detail the digital education scenario and the morphological changes from ‘interpersonal’ to ‘interpersonal+ human computer’, and then discussed the instructional design and application of generative AI under the PBLL-C concept in College English teaching. By enumerating some teaching cases, he described the reality of integrating digital intelligence and AI-supported foreign language teaching to illustrate more vividly. Teachers and students listened attentively and applauded Professor Wang's wonderful lecture. After the lecture, Professor Wang talked in depth with the teachers and students and answered the problems they had encountered in the practice of teaching with digital intelligence.
The integration of artificial intelligence into education can bring both challenges and opportunities, and the realization of ‘human-computer co-efficiency’ has become a central concern of college foreign language education. The lecture has improved the School teachers and students’ understanding of the application of generative artificial intelligence in foreign language teaching and provided useful guidance and suggestions for promoting the reform and innovative development of foreign language teaching in the School. In the future, the School of Foreign Languages will continue to invite more experts and scholars to conduct seminars in order to promote the improvement of teaching quality and the development of teachers' teaching skills.
