On the morning of June 23, the Graduate English Teaching Delegation of the School of Foreign Languages, Nanjing Forestry University headed by Deputy Dean Yu Huiqun visited Jiangsu University for the purpose of exchanging and surveying the teaching reform on graduate English teaching and the construction of graduate English teaching faculty. Dean Chen Hong, Deputy Dean Li Chongyue and the faculty of Graduate English Teaching Department attended the exchange meeting.
Dean Chen Hong first briefed the effort and achievements that have been made in recent years in the teaching reform on graduate English teaching by the faculty of Graduate English Teaching Department, the School of Foreign Languages. Then Deputy Dean Li Chongyue, who is in charge of the graduate English teaching, outlined to the visitors of Nanjing Forestry University the nearly 20 years’ history of graduate English teaching of Jiangsu University. Dean Chen Xin at the Graduate English Teaching Department introduced to the visitors from Nanjing the philosophy and practice of the graduate English teaching reform of Jiangsu University. The visitors sang a high praise for the achievements that have been made in the graduate English teaching reform of Jiangsu University, focusing on the conception of teaching reform, the curriculum and the concrete strategies concerned.
