May 17-18, 2017, the School of Foreign Languages completed its selection of overseas students to study at Yamanashi Aiwa College of Japan.
In accordance with the signed cooperation agreement between Jiangsu University and Yamanashi Aiwa College, the School of Foreign Languages is to send 6 Grade 15 Japanese majors this September to study at the Japanese college for a period of 1 year.
On May 17, in accordance with the related stipulations in Measures of the School of Foreign Languages, Jiangsu University on Selecting Japanese Majors for Overseas Study in Japan, the School of Foreign Languages assessed the comprehensive credit points of 24 applicants and awarded the qualification for an interview to 12 of them. During 2-5 o’clock pm on May 18, a panel of 7 experts including 2 Japanese teachers was organized to interview the 12 candidates. Finally according to the rankings of comprehensive scores of these students, the School chose 1 tuition-free overseas candidate and 5 self-supporting overseas candidates for the publicity. The whole process of selection was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Dean Su Jianhong and Ms. Zhu Wen.
By strictly observing the principles of “open, fair and just”, the School has carried out the selection of this year successfully, as a result laying a good foundation for the future selection of excellent students to study in Japan.
Founded in 1899, Yamanashi Aiwa College is a Japanese college certified by the Chinese Ministry of Education. The college is located in the beautiful city of Kofu, Yamanashi county. The college campus is situated against a mountain-like vineyard, faces the Fuji Mountain and overlooks the Southern Alps to the right.
