I. Introduction:
The Translation Research Center is aimed at promoting the academic research, discipline construction and talent cultivation of translation, at gathering the resources of both talents and facilities to carry out researches in the areas of translation studies, teaching and practice, especially in corpus-based translation research. Measures will be taken to reinforce the administration of the Center, apply for more scientific and teaching projects at the state and provincial or ministerial levels, perfect the working mechanism, promote the teaching reform and international cooperation, constantly enlarge our influence in the discipline of translation research, and, last but not the least, get prepared for the application for the MTI program.
